I worked through over a hundred versions of the Lisual Art Logo. Literally, I asked different age groups from 15 years old to 50 years old. I went through so many font choices over and over again until I was dizzy. The design went to much more complicated, with square frames, triangles, loose free form shapes and patterns down to this design. The color choice that I preferred was to limit the number of colors used for printing. I would like to thank my friend Melissa Smith for her patience when I interrupted her own work to hear her opinion. She's a science teacher also, and a baker of delicious cupcakes and cakes. After hundreds of hours of working through the designs, I feel good about the logo, finally complete as of December 15, 2022. I'm not sure if this will turn into a seasonal logo or not, but that would be fun! I just hope this logo doesn't look too much like an oil change company because the little drop is supposed to be paint. Maybe the mechanic in me is still projected in my work, but I like it.
