This painting started out as a thought of Mars when I was planning it. It ended up being transformed into something a little different.
I tried using texture this time but did not want a textured pattern to follow.
It was a bit challenging to paint on texture, but I used Gesso over the texture to begin painting. Not sure if this is the correct procedure but I thought it would help to make the paint flow.
I painted it horizontally, but it actually looks okay in a vertical position also.
I thought about the title as "Skyview" because I wanted it to look as if you were looking down from the sky. The vertical position though, seems to make it a side view instead of a sky view.
