#70 Acrylic Painting on 8"x10" flat canvas panel
I wanted to do a moth instead of a butterfly because I like the shape. I find moths interesting. One time I witnessed a beetle eating a Leopard Moth and was fascinated. This painting was fun to paint. Used Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine blue, titanium white, primary yellow and primary red, and mars black.
Am going to frame this with a gray stained frame as soon as it gets cooler. Hard to work outside when it's 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
